Why the annex must be agreed and in writing

An employment contract is a bilateral legal transaction, so one party cannot amend it unilaterally. The employer may offer the employee an amendment, but it takes effect only once the employee accepts it and both parties sign a written annex. Important – an annex is valid only with the employee’s consent and in written form.
